Graveney School

Now Open : Graveney School Wildlife Garden

A grant from ‘Tesco: Bags of Help’ has enabled the school to develop a wildlife garden in our Lower School. Graveney Wildlife Garden is open to all students and is a space for them to learn about nature and also just enjoy a quiet place when needed.

Creating the pond January 2018

There is now a beautiful pond to attract aquatic insects and amphibians, as well as birds who are already visiting it daily to drink and bathe. The colourful wildflower meadow of UK native flowers has many self seeding plants that we hope will provide food for pollinating insects each summer.

At the moment we have raised beds, compost bins and will soon be adding bird feeders and planting vegetables as we continue to develop this space.
