Great successes for Graveney A level Students! 

Once again we are delighted to report that Graveney School Sixth Form students have achieved an outstanding set of results at A Level despite the adversity they have faced in the previous three years.  36% of all grades were at A* or A; 62% at A* to B and 81% at A* to C representing a fantastic achievement. This wonderful performance represents the achievements of 426 students in Year 13, in one of biggest school sixth forms in the country. An impressive 91 students- over a fifth of the cohort – achieved three or more A or A* grades.

These results show the consistent excellence achieved by our students across 28 subjects with an A* to B rate of 40% or higher in every single subject. It is also a testimony to their perseverance and commitment to learning.

We are especially pleased that over half of all grades were at A* to B in the following subjects: Art and Design, Drama, Economics, English, Film Studies, French, Geography, German, Government and Politics, History, Maths, Further Maths, Media Studies, Music, Philosophy, Photography, Physics, Psychology, Product Design, Religious Studies, Sociology, Spanish and EPQ.

An astonishing 75% or more of all students achieved grade A* to B in the following subjects: Art and Design, Drama, English, Film Studies, German, Government and Politics, History, Further Maths, Media Studies, Music, Spanish and EPQ.

We commend our students on the range of pathways they will now be taking up; once again, the majority of students got into their first choice university, including Oxford and Cambridge, Russell Group Universities, and Veterinary and Medical schools.  Our AS results remain excellent and we congratulate all our students: the results are a fitting reward for their hard work.  We also thank the dedicated staff at the school, and parents for their continued support. Now the celebrations can begin!
