Sixth Form RS students visit to wimbledon Buddhist temple

We had a fabulous trip to the Buddhist temple in Wimbledon today, with our Year 12 and Year 13 RS students. The students were an absolute credit to the school, behaving impeccably.  They were respectful in the temple and during the talk, with probing and thoughtful questions to ask at the end.

It was clear the trip had increased their interest in Buddhism and we overheard one student on the way back saying it felt like ‘they’d been to Thailand for the day and now stepped back into Central London!’ – apart from the icy conditions we could totally agree!
